Rajat Kapoor, an Indian filmmaker & actor collaborates with fellow actors from Bollywood to put up a theatre play that turns Shakespearean stories into a modern tale with an unconventional twist. With his girlfriend pregnant, Dante, a pacifist hippie who makes lip balm called, Mama Earth; is struggling to keep his bills paid. After finding a mysterious flyer for a Birthday Clown Wanted, Dante calls the number and obtains the job. At the Birthday Party he meets a female clown named, Pele. After joining her Pity Party, Dante is pulled into an underworld and quickly finds himself in over his head.

The successful life of Mikhail, a Moscow lawyer, turns upside down in one day — a woman from the past, his first love, the daughter of a Gypsy baron Diana, appears in his life. She asks to get their daughter Yana out of prison, after which she promises to disappear forever from his life and keep his main secret. After all, Mikhail pretends to be another person. In fact, he is the gypsy Mihai Demeter, who 16 years ago was expelled from the camp and separated from his beloved. Mihai returns to the camp where he grew up in order to save his daughter, whose existence he did not know, and meet himself. Mihai will have to answer himself the question — who is he really, and where is his home — in the camp or in Moscow.

The gang is participating in a program sponsored by the Golden Age Dramatic League. They present their own fractured version of Quo Vadis. Things go from bad to worse when the neighborhood tough kids disrupt the show. The pie fight is given a new twist by use of some slow motion sequences.
